A 501(c)(3), another registered nonprofit, or a group with a fiscal sponsor. Not registered yet? Apply anyway.

A yearly budget under $250,000. All volunteers, or a few paid staff.

Apply for a free site
It takes about five minutes. A person reads every application and replies within a week.
The nonprofit rate
Not a fit for a free site, or would rather not wait? Verified nonprofits get 25 percent off any plan.
No setup fee. We check your status with your EIN and your IRS letter, state filing, or fiscal sponsor letter before we start.
Common questions
We are not registered yet. Can we apply?
Yes. Pick "not registered yet" on the form. A person reads every application and decides.
We already have a website.
If you are not proud of it, you can still apply. If it works fine, the 25 percent nonprofit rate is the better path.
How do you pick?
Availability is limited. We read every application and choose the groups we can help most right now. Everyone else stays on the list.
What do you ask in return?
One person who can answer our questions within a few days, your words and photos, and a small footer credit that says "Donated by Meanwhile Lake Tahoe." We also ask to show the finished site.
What if we are not picked?
You stay on the list for the next opening, and the nonprofit rate is always open to you.
Can we pay for extras?
Yes. Booking, a store, or custom software are added at the nonprofit rate.
